A number of enhancements have also been added to existing and new part modeling tools. The second chapter covers the sketch environment and contains many topics that have been added to ease sketch creation and how you work and control constraint settings. The training class begins with changes to the overall interface and enhancements that cover global settings and import/export support. The major topics covered in this Autodesk Inventor 2015 training include: The training class covers enhancements to the most commonly used environments and contains practices for practicing the new concepts. Can someone explain/link a resource on why this statement is true (if it is)? I have an XY & Z dwg drawing so I'm a little perplexed on how it's not a 3D drawing.perhaps they're using the wrong terminology. The Autodesk Inventor training Update for 2013/2014 Users class introduces the new concepts and solid modeling techniques that have been added to both the Autodesk Inventor 2014 and Autodesk Inventor 2015 software. My peer said that dwg "are not true 3D drawings" and that is why it's hard to convert to stp. (3a) What are the alternative methods for doing this conversion? (3) If not possible, why not? It seems this is a relativly popular request? (2a) I open up a dwg in Inventor 2015 and the Export -> CAD Format is "grayed out" (2) If it is possible, how do you do it?! (1) Is it *possible* to convert to dwg to stp with either of these versions? I've seen this question on several different forums, including this one, but I have only seen unclear answers or options that don't apply to these versions of software.I apologize if this topic has been beaten to death but I'm really determined to find an answer!
